NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Job Description

Juris has a new opening available for a FULL TIME Network Administrator. This person will install, support and administer network server environments to ensure optimum operation and will also provide second-level user support.

The core responsibilities are to install, configure and manage network servers, maintain user accounts and implement server security practices, ensure that all system administration functions comply with the company's SPECs, establish and maintain appropriate system backup procedures, and provide second level end user support.

As a Web Application Developer, you will assist in the development and deployment of data driven web applications. Responsibilities:

  • Development of N-tier ASP.NET web applications using VB.NET
  • Business object development and exposure of business logic via .NET Web Services.
  • Seamless integration of new applications into a high-volume 24x7 production environment.
  • Leveraging existing .NET application framework with opportunities to extend the framework for use by other developers.
  • Assist in the maintenance of existing ASP/VB/.Net applications

Requirements:

  • Previous experience developing database-driven web applications.
  • Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design and development (OOA/OOD).
  • Excellent communication skills – you must be able to implement a solution and describe it to a non-technical person.
  • Experience developing core infrastructure code (e.g., a common database access library) used by other developers is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with .net and Visual Studio
  • HTML, DHTML, JScript, Java Script, VB Script, XML, XSL
  • SQL 2000/2005 development experience, TSQL / Stored procedures
  • Flash/Action script a plus but not required
